MySQL のFederated Table としてAirtable のデータを連携利用する

SQL Gateway を使って、MySQL リモーティングサービスを作成し、Airtable のMySQL Federated Table を構築できます。CData ODBC Driver for Airtable のMySQL インターフェースのdeamon になります。サービス起動後、MySQL のFEDERATED ストレージエンジンを使ってサーバーおよびテーブルを作成します。Airtable のデータ をMySQL テーブルのように使いましょう。

Airtable のデータへの接続

If you have not already done so, provide values for the required connection properties in the data source name (DSN). You can use the built-in Microsoft ODBC Data Source Administrator to configure the DSN. This is also the last step of the driver installation. See the "Getting Started" chapter in the help documentation for a guide to using the Microsoft ODBC Data Source Administrator to create and configure a DSN.

Airtable への接続

それでは、Airtable に接続していきましょう。CData 製品は、Airtable にテーブルとビューを要求します。 Schema プロパティ（オプション）を使用すると、表示されるテーブルおよびビューを特定のベースに制限できます。 特定のベースに制限したい場合は、このプロパティを使用するスキーマの名前に設定してください。（これはAirtable のBase 名に相当します。）

すべてのAirtable Bases に加えて、DataModelInformation という名前の静的スキーマもご利用いただけます。 このスキーマでは、Bases、Tables、Users のような静的テーブルをクエリできます。 DisplayObjectIds がTrue に設定されている場合、Schema の値は名前ではなくAirtable Base id に設定する必要があります。

Airtableへの認証

続いて、認証方法を設定しましょう。個人用アクセストークンまたはOAuth PKCE のいずれかを使用してAirtable に認証できます。

個人用アクセストークン

個人用アクセストークンをまだ生成していない場合は、以下のステップで生成してみましょう。

1. ユーザーアカウントにログインします
2. "https://airtable.com/create/tokens" に移動します
3. Create new token をクリックします
4. Scopes で、Add a scope をクリックして以下の各スコープを追加します
   • data.records:read
   • data.records:write
   • schema.bases:read
5. Access で、トークンにアクセス権を付与するすべてのワークスペースとベースを追加します
6. Create token をクリックしてトークンを生成します。生成されたトークンは一度しか表示されませんので、必ずコピーして保存してください

次に、以下の設定を行います。

• AuthScheme：PersonalAccessToken
• Token：先ほど生成した個人用アクセストークンの値

SQL Gateway の設定

See the SQL Gateway Overview to set up connectivity to Airtable のデータ as a virtual MySQL database. You will configure a MySQL remoting service that listens for MySQL requests from clients. The service can be configured in the SQL Gateway UI.

Airtable データのFEDERATED サーバーおよびテーブルを作成

After you have configured and started the service, create a FEDERATED server to simplify the process of creating FEDERATED tables:

The following statement will create a FEDERATED server based on the ODBC Driver for Airtable. Note that the username and password of the FEDERATED server must match a user account you defined on the Users tab of the SQL Gateway.

FEDERATED テーブルの作成

To create a FEDERATED table using our newly created server, use the CONNECTION keyword and pass the name of the FEDERATED server and the remote table (SampleTable_1). Refer to the following template for the statement to create a FEDERATED table:

NOTE: The table schema for the FEDERATED table must match the remote table schema exactly. You can always connect directly to the MySQL remoting service using any MySQL client and run a SHOW CREATE TABLE query to get the table schema.

クエリの実行

You can now execute queries to the Airtable FEDERATED tables from any tool that can connect to MySQL, which is particularly useful if you need to JOIN data from a local table with data from Airtable. Refer to the following example:
